Garden House

Commissioned by the founder of Juniper, an architectural lighting company, we designed a ground-up garden house for his property in Middlebury, Connecticut, near the company's factory. Conceived to support a multi-acre kitchen garden, the structure draws on the modernist forms of the property’s mid-century architecture and incorporates a connected greenhouse to extend the growing season. Positioned at the entrance to the property, the garden house serves as its introduction.
